And they're in!

After much hulabaloo getting an electrician to install my lights before Christmas, they are in.  Not a moment too soon.  And I love them.  More pics of the completed kitchen to come in the New Year.

Landscaping Inpsiration

Isobel starts childcare two days a week in January.  Two whole days to myself?!  Jeepers.  As I have no immediate plans to go back to work, the idea is to get stuck into things around here.  I really want to sort out the mess that is our garden, I just know I could enjoy gardening if I had the time.  Maybe now I will?  Anyhow, I am starting to gather together some inspiration.....

Oeuf

I am starting to think about moving Isobel into a bigger bed and a bigger bedroom. She is still in a cot, and while I love that she can't escape, I guess I'll have to release her from her prison eventually. If you're going to buy a new bed, why not make it a lovely one? Chilewich

I bought a new rug for the kitchen/dining area today. I love, love, love Chilewich and after admiring the range for such a long time, I ducked into one of my favourite shops in Manuka, and there it was. It just had to come home with me. Woven vinyl, it's perfect for life with a little monkey. Yay!
