Bathroom tiles

Did anyone watch The Block last night? Loving Jake and Erin's bathroom, along with the ensuite they did last week.  It's those mosaic feature tiles and the free standing bath.  The tiles must be fairly cheap based on the budget dramas last night!  I have a feeling they may not be however.  Shame that The Block is more about the drama than the actual reno's.

According to The Block website, these tiles are Futurist by Trend Tiles USA.

Verrry nice.  A quick look at their website reveals some other beauties.....

Trend Classic Austere
I think the Austere's would look great on the floor, if they are suitable.  Ooooh yum.

These ones (below) are a bit way out, but I do love them:

Lot's of things to ponder when it comes time for our bathroom reno.  Will it ever happen?  Maybe I'll be dreaming about it forever.

Striped Rug Cushions

I love this idea (via Martha Stewart) of sewing two IKEA Signe rugs together to make extra large cushions.  Could be good for additional seating on the new deck?  And at $4.99 a pop for the rugs, super cheapo!

Mor-Stor

I'm always on the lookout for simple, stylish storage solutions.  These containers from Mor-Stor look great for playrooms and bedrooms.  Anywhere you want to get those ugly plastic toys contained and hidden away.  Definitely one to keep in mind when I finally get round to being organised!

Covet Garden

Another online interiors magazine!  I found this one via Belinda's blog, The Happy Home.  Like her, I want to know all about the people who create such inspiring interiors.   The more information I have, the happier I am!  Covet Garden is like crack for information junkies like me.  I want to know how they did it, why they did it and everything in between.

I really admire people who can see the value in objects that others discard or overlook.   Shelley and Brenden, featured in this months issue, are just these types. It takes confidence to display such objects in your home, almost as though they are works of art.  And they can be, sometimes they just need the space to breathe.

Here are some images from the latest issue:
