Another beautiful beach house. Well, technically it's by a lake, but still .... Anywhere by the water, where it's warm - that's where I would like to be.

I've been sick this week, so took the opportunity to spend some much needed time at home. A chance to get the sewing machine out and great creative.....

Sometimes you come across an image that makes you want to jump right into the pages of the magazine. This bedroom by Justine Hugh-Jones makes me want to do just that. In fact, I WANT this entire beach house.
The colours are so peaceful and inviting. The same palette is used throughout the entire home. What is very exciting is that apparently it is available for holiday rentals:
Barrenjoey Beach House is an original 1900’s Palm Beach weatherboard house with beautiful views over Pittwater. The house has been fully renovated by interior designer Justine Hugh-Jones and exudes incredible character, style, charm and comfort. The house sleeps up to 10 people with open plan living and dining, large outdoor entertaining area on one floor and a separate level for children.
I'm there! Not sure when.......but I'm there!

Came across this image in my inspiration folder. These colours work so well together, and the layering of textures on the bed is perfect. Also particularly loving the carpet. I wonder if I could get away with something this dark at our place?

I found myself looking at the Ferm Living website recently after a bit of an absence. They have some lovely new things. I adore this wallpaper! Although not sure if it's available in Australia yet.
These vintage looking kids wallpapers are awesome.
I am also liking the new kids bedding ranges.
And this super cute dollhouse!
A foxy little cushion
And one can never have too many glamorous tea towels....

Another gorgeous place I want to stay! Daylesford is right up there on my destination list. This is Comma. Looks awesome.
Set in a quiet and very private location, 1 hour and 15 minutes from Melbourne, Comma: Daylesford has been carefully designed to ensure stylish surrounds while capturing views over Wombat Hill and beyond.
This four bedroom house is beautifully dressed with original artworks, daybeds and designer furniture. The main house has a full, eat-in country kitchen and dining area ideal for large group stays, all warmed by an open fireplace.
Additional accommodation is available via the "Stables" which houses a four poster bed and freestanding bath; ideal as a luxury wedding suite or intimate couples retreat. Full bathroom facilities downstairs with refrigerator and basic kitchen facilities.
Personally crafted by designer and artist Matt Martino.
