Rachel Brown, a Sydney stylist, has put together her own homewares line, Attia. Beautiful ceramics and timber utensils. Website is rather lacking images and pricing and information in general, but you can download an order form and contact Rachel directly. I am inspired by the colours and organic forms in this image. Love some for our new kitchen!

The Kaufmann House

Some Modernist inspiration: The Kaufmann House by Richard Neutra, 1946, Palm Springs. Can you believe this amazing house was offered for sale a decade ago as a tear down! Thankfully, Brent & Beth Harris bought the property and lovingly restored it to it's original glory.

Another House Tour!

It's the week for house tours! Here's another cracker I stumbled across. Not quite sure how I got to this one, but it is the Australian home of Fiona from Fede - a lovely little business that creates beautiful handmade children's toys in fabric. Here is an in depth interview with Fiona on the Bloesem Kids website. Fiona's house was built in the 50's and is a flat roofed modern house like my own. Swoon.

How much do I love this carpet! A bold statement, but it so works. I would love to do something like this in the bedroom end of our house.

House Tour

Came across this gorgeous home on Apartment Therapy this week. Emily & Jacob from Chicago. The photography is amazing, but it's the colours of this home that I really fell for. So calming and subtle. Beautiful.
