A Single Man

I've had many people tell me I need to see the movie A Single Man.  For the sets, the architecture and the mid-century feel in general.  Maybe I'll treat myself and rent it out this weekend?   I need a good dose of inspiration.

I actually gasped out loud when I saw this beautiful light by Kate Stokes of Coco Flip. 

The Coco pendant light is produced in Melbourne from turned Victorian Ash timber and spun aluminium and is available in white or black.  600mm diameter. $1,500

Hard to get excited about door hardware, I know - but just came across these handles by Shareen Joel for Lockwood.  I have a squillion doors to paint and find hardware for.  These are no doubt out of my price range when you add up how many we need, but still.........I likey.
