Park Street, St Kilda

Moving to Melbourne is a dream of ours, and while it may not come to fruition for some time, a girl can dream. How perfect is this house for sale in Park Street, St Kilda?

My favourite colour palette - whites, greys and timber tones.

Is this not the perfect bedroom?

These are the wall dots I wanted if I couldn't get the Eames Hang-It-All.

I adore this day bed. The natural linen, the cable knit throw, the Tolomeo wall light and the cutest ever little kitty bed. Not to mention the cat!

If only a child could keep their room this pristine.

Sigh.

Yarra Valley

We have just arrived home from the most wonderful week away in Melbourne and the Yarra Valley. It was a very good friend's wedding, the perfect excuse to eat, drink and shop ourselves silly. The ceremony was in a Heidleberg, a suburb of Melbourne - and the reception was held at the Healesville Hotel in the Yarra Valley. Divine! While much of the valley suffered in last year's tragic bushfires, Healesville itself is untouched, and such a wonderful little paradise of culture, wine and fantastic food.

This is the house we shared with our friends Drew & Amanda, called the Healesville Garden Retreat. Completely gorgeous. It was huge, six bedrooms all up, and a perfect base to check out all the Yarra Valley has to offer. Situated in a quiet little tree lined street, only one block back from all the action of the main drag.

on the last day of our stay. Completely divine.

Tom Dixon @ Portobello Dock

Seeing as I am obsessed with all things Tom Dixon right now, it seems very appropriate that he has launched his first retail showroom, Shop, in London recently. Designed by Studio Toogood, the new showroom at Portobello Dock will permanently display Dixon’s collection.

More Copper Shades! You may be able to tell I just can't get enough of these. On a very happy note, I have ordered two for my kitchen. Bless Justine at De De Ce in Melbourne, she has managed to score me a couple already on order so they should arrive early December. Hooray! What a fantastic Christmas present to myself.

Lonny Mag

With the demise of so many US shelter mags, including one of my favourites, Domino, an exciting new venture is under way. Michelle Adams & Patrick Cline have created an online magazine called Lonny Mag. Can't wait to check out the inaugural issue which is online now: www.lonnymag.com
