Clare Cousins

Clare Cousins Architects is a Melbourne-based architecture and interior design practice established in 2005. I love some of the stuff they have been doing:

Interestingly, Clare also designed some of the Aesop shops in Australia, including the one in the Canberra Centre, which I've always admired.

Using devices to enhance the experience of warmth, light, sound and scent, and specific concepts unique to each location, such as the interactive product dispenser boxes cut into the façade of the Canberra store, each outlet is designed to stand alone yet equally reflect the qualities of the brand.

    Hi Barb,

  3. Hi Mary Anne,

I did actually mean to mention that you were the one who introduced me to Clare Cousins! I just love her stuff.

The Caravaggio pendants will look gorgeous, especially in white. Can't wait to see it when it all comes together!

Always happy to share design things!!!
We will start building at the end of April so hopefully the house will be finished by Sept/Oct. I will send you pictures when we are finished. I've always liked the Caravaggion. They had lots of Caravaggio lights in Mark Tuckey (Melb)which looked good. I am yet to visit Capital Kitchen in Chadstone but there are lots of those lights there. The fit out looks beautiful. Maybe on your next trip to Melbourne - you seem to be lucky enough to do lots of little mini getaways (am jealous :)).
    Take care,
Love reading your blog - eventhough I dont sometimes comment!! Not enough time with my two raskally kids!
