In Bangalow I came across the most divine ceramic dishes by Sydney artist Samantha Robinson. Was sorely tempted to buy one, but - quite frankly - I'd already spent well over my limit and really didn't need to be parting with more dough and coming away with a dish. A very beautiful dish, but a dish never-the-less.
See how lovely they are? The one I wanted was part of the 'watermelon' series (similar to the third image, but a smaller version). Where Samantha has actually shaped them around a watermelon. Genius!
